Info
Edit
"An offshoot from Yggdrasil, the "Tree of Life", it has magically grown to a huge size. It needs to consume meat in order to survive, wrapping its prey in its long tendrils before swallowing them whole."
Appearance
Edit
It is simply a plant like creature though it has a beaked "mouth". Four long, branch-like tendrils are used to attack its enemies, and it is rooted (pardon the pun) to the spot and is unable to move in battle.

Edit
Have Edward use the vital hammer and whack the boss, this will heal Edward, so don't worry about healing, have Koudelka cast Flare in the corner, when Edward starts hitting 0, that means it's about to die, one more Flare from Koudelka and it dies.
Etymology
Edit
Yateveo derives from the Latin "Ya-te-veo" which translates to "Now-I-see-you".
It was first mentioned in J.W. Buel's Land and Sea (1887), where it is said to be a carnivorous plant that catches and consumes large insects, but also attempts to consume humans. It is said to grow in parts of Central and South America, Africa and on the shores of the Indian Ocean. There are many different descriptions of the plant, but most reports say it has a short, thick trunk and long tendrils of some sort which are used to catch prey.
