Meiyuan (梅元) is a well known acupuncturist who appears in many places where are heroes travel. He is also attracted to fine young men. His element is light.

Bio
A minor character but important character in Shadow Hearts, he is responsible for raising the strength of the characters' weapons. He is the only one who can customise the Judgement Ring in the first game. He can also change the active party around.
Each character has a response when Meiyuan perfoms his skills on them, and if they're male their responses suggest that he performs more than just acupuncture:

In the European Section of the game once the Float has risen go to Rouen and enter his room he will have recieved a letter from Qiuhua, which tells what is going on in Shanghai. Qiuhua also sent The Adept's Coat Zhuzhen's ultimate armor.
A reference to him is found in the Director's Cut of Shadow Hearts: Covenant, on one of the Stud cards.
