Description[]
A stone that shows a hidden route through the Dog Shrine. On the rock is the character “TOU.” Reveals a straight path between east and west.
Etymology[]
- TOU (闘 - "Harmony") is one of the Kuji-kiri (九字切り lit. "nine symbolic cuts") gestures, - also known as a "mudra", with multiple interpretations. In Shinto belief, it can be used as an utterance in ritual purification.
