Once a renowned showman and puppeteer known throughout Europe. Gepetto used to live in Paris, but retired to the quiet village of Domremy only to become mixed up in the affairs of Yuri and Nicolai. He offers good advice, but also has a bit of a lecherous side.
"A retired puppeteer who gained fame in the great theatres of Paris. He now travels the road with Yuri and his beloved puppet Cornelia."
His wife died and her niece was Alice, Yuri's girlfriend.
Not much is known about Gepetto's life. It is generally known that he was a famous puppeteer in the theaters of Paris. He is still relatively well-known but his popularity has faded. He had a young daughter named Cornelia. The puppet he uses for battle is an exact replica of her. Also, he is the brother-in-law of Father Morris Elliot and the uncle of Alice Elliot. When he was younger, his daughter died at an early age. By the beginning of the game, his wife has died and he is living with Yuri.
Gepetto can be described as kind, wise, and loyal to others. He also has a somewhat lecherous side, along with a rather humorously disturbing preference for Veronica Vera.
Using his beloved puppet Cornelia (named for his late daughter), Gepetto fights and channels his magic-based Marionette skills through her.
Having the highest MP stat in the party, Gepetto's main function is to attack or provide support with magic crests and his own "Marionette" skills, all of which focus on dealing specific elemental damage.
Found by giving Stud Cards to Pierre Magimel, the dresses make Gepetto's "Marionette" attacks more powerful by giving a small element bonus when a dress of the same elemental attack is worn, i.e: Fire Dancer will increase damage done by the Heat Cast spell.
|Poor Saint||Starting Dress. It was knitted by Gepetto's late wife. It has no innate quality and doesn't teach any magic casts. It is Non-Elemental.|

|Sassy Sailor||Obtained by using one of the Stud Cards. It boosts Water damage and defense. It teaches the Aqua Cast ability.|
|Fire Dancer||Obtained by using one of the Stud Cards. It boosts Fire damage and defense. It teaches the Heat Cast ability.|
|Windy Pixie||Obtained by using one of the Stud Cards. It boosts Wind damage and defense. It teaches the Air Cast ability.|
|Angel of Light||Obtained by using one of the Stud Cards. It boosts Light damage and defense. It teaches the Holy Cast ability.|

|Blue Virgin||After getting all the previous dresses, and meeting Alice in the Graveyard, visit Pierre to gain this dress automatically. Not only is it a reference to Alice, from the previous game, it also teaches her "Advent" move. It boosts Light and Water damage. It is Non-Elemental.|
|Beautiful Fool||Only available in Director's Cut. Find the Mr. Meiyuan stud card and visit Pierre. It is a reference to the fable of "The Emperor's New Clothes" by Hans Christian Andersen. It doesn't teach any magic casts and doesn't provide any boost at all (and therefore makes Gepetto's attacks less effective).|
