Final boss of Koudelka.
Bestiary Entry[]
Final form of Elaine. Her very presence is a blight to the Earth itself. She must be destroyed so that Elaine's soul may rest in peace!
Strategy[]
Elaine is bigger, faster, and stronger this time and she's not afraid to pull out any stops on you. Her physical attacks have a chance of inflicting poison - and she's gained several AOE attacks.
Flame Mine - deals large fire damage, spreads out in a cross formation from the target so it's advisable to slightly stagger the party, or equip any fire damage-reducing accessories.
Keep the Crossbow on Edward. Elaine will stay in the back if you do. There's always a possibility that she'll approach you, but DO NOT SEPARATE YOUR PARTY MEMBERS. Have Edward pelt her with arrows as Koudelka or James (whoever has the highest Level Heal spell) should be ready to heal always.
Elaine's Grand High Magic attack can hit all your characters and can do nearly 3,000 damage to Edward, and just about 1,000 damage to Koudelka and James, even with nearly 99 PIE. You're going to need a lot of patience for this battle. It will take you several minutes. More so, as Elaine can also Heal for over 1500 HP. However, as long as you can keep your MP up and heal everytime you're hit, you'll come out of this fight victorious.
A good strategy for making this fight easier is to keep all party members in the back row and cast reflect on the party. This will make you invulnerable to all her attacks and will do a decent amount of damage to her.
