Strategy
Edit
First, this boss is fast and hard hitting, keep Koudelka and James AWAY from it, have Koudelka attack with Megalith, and have James use fortify STR and VIT for Edward, then have Edward attack with your strongest weapon, if you can do that before it silences everyone in your party, You'll have a smooth ride.
The biggest threat from this boss is its high attack rate and its ability to inflict silence on your characters. Other than that, this should be a fairly easy boss.
Etymology
Edit
The Chimera (Greek for "she-goat") was, according to Greek mythology, a monstrous fire-breathing female creature composed of the parts of multiple animals: upon the body of a lion with a tail that ended in a snake's head, the head of a goat arose on her back at the center of her spine. The Chimera was one of the offspring of Typhon and Echidna and a sibling of such monsters as Cerberus and the Lernaean Hydra.
The word is also used to describe an amalagam of various animals or genes.
